Setting aside the inherent absurdity of this story, it must have been a lot harder for terrible journalists to score some affirmative vox pop before Twitter.

Is this practice bound to die off with an older generation or will I always have to hear an actual anchorperson tell me what Fartzilla69 from YouTube thinks about fracking?
